LG Optimus 4X HD, Android 'Heavyweight' with Quad Core
Mobile phones 'heavyweight' LG is preparing to show off on the show Mobile World Congress (MWC) in 2012. The device is named Optimus 4X HD, and is the first mobile quad-core South Korean vendor.
LG Optimus 4X HD brings Android OS 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich and equipped with powerful processor 1.5 GHz NVidia Tegra 3 with the ability to display high definition (HD) IPS.
"LG Mobile introduced the Android smart phone's first dual-core processors in the world exactly one year ago, but today we are introducing more sophisticated technology," said Dr. Jong-seok Park, President and CEO of LG Mobile Communications Company.
"But speed is not what makes the LG Optimus 4X HD to be unique and different, but we also bring the consumer in order to enrich the experience of using the Android smart phone with HD screen," he added, in a written statement.
NVidia Tegra processor 3 are present on 4X HD Optimus also claimed to be the only processor 4-Plus-1 Quad-Core mobile in the world designed to support the performance of the need for high multimedia activities.
